Distractions are the enemy of your business

One of the biggest challenges building a new venture is the amount of distractions you will face on your daily journey..

When you the captain of the ship you building, it can be a bit of a crazy place.

Not only is the boat you sailing, a work in progress, but you are mapping out the seas and territory while you are plotting your journey.

There is no faster way to learn to swim than diving in the water and learning to swim there and then.

Life is a dive in first and learn as you go process, no one gets to “practice life” before they live their lives.

There isn’t a dress rehearsal before the main event…

What we can do is have a strategy, a plan of execution, and a general attitude to the daily process of living and working.

When you are one person you only have so many hours, so many minutes and so many seconds.

Blink and they’re gone.

Hesitate and they’re running down the way…

Many people get stuck behind the fence of comfort and insecurity, it’s not easy to climb over that fence and to take a chance.

It’s not easy to face the expectations of yourself and others.

When you commit to something and your mind is set on its objective, great things will manifest, doubt is the invisible wall that stops us from reaching our full potential, and it only exists in our own mind.

Invisible to everyone else

But your deep subconscious.

If you find yourself hitting a wall of limitation, you need to ask yourself:

♦️What is really limiting me?

♦️What emotions are blocking my mind from flowing forward?

The biggest challenge you face as you build a business is the struggle for focus and clarity as every day presents its own onslaught of distractions.

Progress is more dependent on the ability to manage daily priorities and challenges than anything else, it will determine your effectiveness to get things done and whether they get done well.

Planning and prioritising can go a long way to help you keep yourself on the right path as you nurture your vision and push forward to your destination.

Re-calibrating is key to accelerating your progress, you need to be able to adapt and change as you gain more insights, knowledge, and perspectives on what you are doing.
